SRP
SYN Capital SRP
Preface
Participation in Capital fleets is the only fleet type rewarded with an additional FAT link. This means that in a Strat-OP/CTA/HomeDef, simultaneous participation in the Main Fleet and the Capital fleet lets you collect two FAT links.
Requesting Capital SRP is voluntary — if Capital SRP exceeds the planned budget, it will be suspended. Naturally, in this case all ships requested up until the suspension of SRP will still be replaced. So if only players who genuinely rely on it request SRP, that contributes to the sustainability of the programme.
Requirements for SRP
- Correct ship + fitting + implants.
- Corresponding Capital SRP group.
- Cap SRP was approved for the respective fleet by a SYN FC (via ping with "Capital SRP: YES" in the SYN Discord). Without an unambiguous ping, SRP is not guaranteed.
- SYN Jun/☆ may claim Capital SRP for a maximum of 3 Capitals per fleet; SYN FCs unlimited.
Form of the SRP
- Capital SRP is paid out as a fitted ship where possible (without implants), i.e. normally not in ISK. Platinum insurance is required. The insurance profit (payout minus cost) must be paid at the handover of the replacement ship.
- SRP is a flat rate per Capital class, using the ideal ship for that class:
| Capital class | Replacement ship |
|---|---|
| Anti-Cap Dread (close range, passive) | Revelation Navy Issue |
| HAW Dread (active) | Phoenix Navy Issue |
| Zirnitra (passive/long range) | Zirnitra |
| Carrier (passive) | Archon |
| Apostle (active or passive) | Apostle |
| Minokawa (active or passive) | Minokawa |
When losing a (non-faction) T1 Dreadnought, an additional 1.9b ISK must be paid on handover of the respective faction Dreadnought.
- Due to the nature of the process, Capital SRP can take up to 3 months.
Player Handouts
Where it can be documented, FCs are free to hand out Capitals for fleets. These ships must be returned immediately after the fleet in their original condition (with consumables, fuel, etc.).
When issued (always via contract!), a deposit must be paid to the issuing FC (see table). This deposit is refunded on return and, in the event of a loss, retained and forwarded to the SRP treasury. An SRP request must still be filed.
If the player was not a member of the respective SRP group for the ship class, they must pay for the ship (minus the deposit already paid).
Deposit Table
| Ship | Deposit |
|---|---|
| Archon | 800,000,000 ISK |
| Phoenix Navy Issue | 1,400,000,000 ISK |
| Revelation Navy Issue | 1,400,000,000 ISK |
| Zirnitra | 800,000,000 ISK |
| Apostle | 1,400,000,000 ISK |
| Minokawa | 1,400,000,000 ISK |
Corporation Handouts
Corporations receive "permanent" handouts from a pool of Capitals defined by the Alliance Leadership. The distribution (number of Capitals) from this pool is based on the Corporations' share of FAT links. Corporations generally must have been members of the Alliance for at least 3 months to qualify.
The respective Corp leadership is involved in selecting the Capitals.
Capitals issued under this programme must be kept available for use in Alliance fleets at the Capital Staging and must be made available appropriately to players with the corresponding SRP group for fleets.
In the event of a loss, a new ship is provided analogous to the regular SRP, against payment of the insurance profit (see above). An SRP request must still be filed.
If the ship is lost outside a fleet that meets the requirements for Capital SRP, the Corporation must replace the ship and report the loss immediately. Private use of the ships is generally permitted.
If the ship is lost by a pilot who is not part of the respective SRP group for the ship class, the Corporation must likewise replace the ship and report the loss immediately.
Corporation Handouts may be reclaimed by the Alliance Leadership without justification and must then be returned within 48h in the condition they were issued in (e.g. to service SRP requests or if the FAT link distribution has changed).
CEOs are liable for their members under this type of handout.
